Remote Assistance Overview
We conduct training and other assistance using Microsoft Windows Remote
Assistance.
Remote Assistance is included as part of the Windows operating system for Windows
7, Vista and XP.
Setup
If you have not run remote Assistance before, you will need to perform some
simple setup steps.
Click the Setup Remote Assistance link for a guided tour through the Setup
process.
Connection a Session
Once Remote Assistance is setup, you can invite us to connect to your computer to share your
screen. This makes it possible for us to follow along with you as you perform
different operations. The only information exchanged is the image on your
screen, NO DATA is actually exchanged between the two computers.
NOTE: Some networks are administered such that using Remote Assistance is not
possible. So we cannot always use this great tool to help us help you.
Click the Invite Remote Assistance link to see the steps to connect your computer to ours.
Closing a Session
Simply close Remote Assistance and the connection is automatically broken.
